Is This the Right Bar Set for You?

Choose Altavista when four seats are enough and flexibility matters as much as appearance. It works for a patio that hosts on weekends, a pool deck that needs clearer circulation between gatherings, or a covered area that changes with the season. Built-in storage keeps bottles and glassware near the host instead of sending someone back inside.

Pause before ordering if the set will remain open year-round and folding storage offers little value, if you need eight seats, or if guests would be more comfortable at standard dining height. A folding feature deserves its price only when it solves a real space or storage problem.

Folding Does Not Mean Lightweight

The bar and all four chairs fold, but this is still a complete solid-teak setting with an approximate complete-set weight of 160 lb. Plan where it will be stored, how it will be moved safely, and who will help. Do not assume one person will casually carry the entire set away after a gathering.

For storage, decide whether the pieces will remain on the same level, pass through a gate or doorway, or travel over steps and uneven ground. Folding helps reclaim space, but it does not eliminate the need for a dry, accessible place to keep solid teak.

Cushions and Shade

Cushions are not included. Optional cushions are available only with qualifying furniture orders. Contact us before ordering to confirm fit, fabric, quantity, price and timing. Standard shipping includes cushions ordered and shipped together with qualifying furniture to an eligible address.

Shade is not included. Plan any umbrella or shade structure as a separate part of the room and confirm placement, clearance and support rather than assuming the folding bar will provide an umbrella-support point.

Setup and Delivery Planning

Current supplier records contain conflicting assembly language. Some setup or assembly may be required; follow the instructions included with the set. Plan for adequate help when receiving, positioning and later storing the 160-lb complete setting.

Complimentary standard shipping applies only to qualifying destinations and services. A set of this size may require scheduled curbside freight delivery. Curbside service does not include carrying components into the backyard, unpacking, setup or assembly, furniture placement, or packaging removal. Living With Solid Teak

The Grade-A solid teak arrives natural and smooth-sanded. Left outdoors untreated, it gradually changes from honey-gold to a silver-grey patina. That change is normal and does not reduce the wood's strength. If keeping the original golden tone matters to you, plan on regular cleaning and maintenance according to the manufacturer's guidance.

Natural variations in color, grain and texture are part of real teak rather than defects. Avoid leaving teak standing in pooled water for extended periods. Before folding and storing the pieces, make sure they are clean and dry.

Warranty, Returns, and Before You Commit

Manufacturer limited frame warranty: 2 years for residential use and 1 year for commercial use against manufacturing defects and workmanship. Labor coverage is limited to the first year, and customer-paid shipping may apply after the first year. Natural checking, grain variation and normal weathering are not manufacturing defects.

Eligible standard merchandise follows the return terms above. Confirming the open layout, storage destination, movement path and bar-height comfort before ordering is far less expensive than discovering a mismatch afterward.
