If you built a sun shelf to be the place where you slow down and stay connected to everyone in the pool, the Signature Chaise is the shallow-water in-pool chaise to start with. It is made for a flat tanning ledge or sun shelf with 0–9 inches of water and gives you a low, molded recline right at the waterline.

This is the better fit when you want to lean back, sunbathe, or linger beside the people using the pool. If you would rather sit upright to read, talk, or watch children, compare the Signature Chair before deciding.

Is the Signature Chaise Right for You?

It earns its place best when your household expects to use the ledge for reclined relaxation—not only as open play space or a pathway into the pool.

• Choose it for: a flat, level ledge with 0–9 inches of normal water depth and a buyer who prefers a fixed reclined posture.
• Check your available space: the chaise has a 44-inch footprint and measures 70 inches overall. Leave enough room for access, neighboring furniture, and the way you normally clean the ledge.
• Plan before filling: it weighs 34 lbs empty and approximately 144 lbs filled, so choose its placement before filling rather than expecting to move it casually every time the pool is used.
• Choose something else when needed: select the Chair for upright seating or the Deep for a 10–15-inch ledge. The models solve different posture and depth needs.

Start With Your Water Depth

Measure straight down from the normal waterline to the ledge at the exact place where the chaise will sit. This shallow-water version is designed for 0–9 inches. If your ledge holds 10–15 inches of water, choose the Signature Chaise Deep instead. The two are not interchangeable; the wrong model can leave you sitting higher or lower in the water than intended.

Why Choose a Purpose-Built In-Pool Chaise?

This is not ordinary patio furniture placed in shallow water. Its UV-stabilized resin is designed for submerged pool use and is compatible with all pool types, including vinyl-lined, saltwater, and chlorine pools. The fill method uses pool water to bring the chaise to its published filled weight without drilling or complicated assembly.

The molded position is reclined rather than adjustable. Comfort is personal, so think about how you prefer to spend time on the ledge. A headrest pillow can add head and neck support, but it is optional and not included with the chaise.

What Ownership Is Like

Choose the placement before filling the chaise. Once filled, its published weight is approximately 144 lbs. If your cleaning routine requires an open ledge, plan how often you will need to drain or reposition it and whether your pool-cleaning equipment has sufficient clearance.

For routine care, rinse away sunscreen, body oils, and pool residue with fresh water and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can dull the finish. Before freezing conditions below 32°F, remove the chaise, drain it completely, and store it in a safe, dry, enclosed area. Lift rather than drag it across the deck.

Warranty

Ledge's limited warranty covers manufacturing defects for 15 years in residential use and 10 years in commercial use. Residential coverage for cracking, splitting, peeling or rotting is 10 years; plastic color-fading coverage is 5 years and subject to the manufacturer's defined threshold. Lead Time

Standard-quantity orders for the seven standard colors typically ship from the manufacturer within 1–2 weeks (approximately 5–10 business days). After carrier pickup, standard transit is estimated at 3–10 business days, so delivery is generally estimated within 8–20 business days after ordering. Timing is an estimate, not a guarantee, and may vary by destination, availability, carrier conditions, holidays, and multi-unit or mixed-color orders.

Complimentary standard freight applies to eligible contiguous-U.S. and Washington, DC destinations. Remote or special-delivery charges may apply.

Shipping, Returns & Order Changes

Delivery method and timing may vary by destination and current availability. Additional charges may apply for remote locations, address changes, missed appointments, storage, redelivery, or other special circumstances.

Inspect the product and packaging immediately upon delivery. Report visible damage, missing pieces, or an incorrect item within 72 hours of delivery. For product defects, contact us within 30 days of purchase; applicable manufacturer warranty periods and rights provided by law remain in effect.

The final-sale terms above apply to this furniture. Any authorized return for a damaged, defective or incorrect item requires instructions from Backyard Solstice before shipment.
