Not every good pool day is spent lying back. Sometimes you want to face the people beside you, read without craning your neck, keep an eye on the children, or sit with your feet in the water while staying part of the conversation.

The Autograph Chair is built for that more upright experience. Its sculpted seat, full lumbar support, and raised profile keep you comfortably positioned while your feet stay cool below—an especially useful choice when the ledge is meant to become a social space rather than only a sunbathing space.

Chair or Chaise?

Choose the Autograph Chair when upright conversation, reading, supervision, or easier social engagement is the primary job. Choose the Autograph Chaise when you prefer a full-body fixed recline in the same up-to-12-inch depth range.

For a flat 0–9-inch ledge, also compare the Signature Chair as the upright alternative within the Signature family. If the real goal is reclined restoration on that shallower ledge, begin with the Signature Chaise. These products share the pool, but they do not solve the same posture decision.

Is the Autograph Chair Right for Your Ledge?

• Best fit: out-of-water use or a flat, level sun shelf or tanning ledge with no more than 12 inches of normal water depth.
• Choose it for a drier seat: the 11.5-inch seat height and self-draining seat are designed to keep the sitter more elevated while allowing feet and lower legs to remain in the water.
• Plan the setting: each chair measures 31 inches long × 25 inches wide with a 24-inch footprint. Allow additional practical clearance for people to enter, leave, and turn toward one another.
• Stop when the surface is unsuitable: beyond 12 inches, or on a sloped, uneven, or undersized placement, the chair may drift, float, bob, or sit improperly.

What Ownership Is Like

The chair weighs 28 lbs empty and approximately 161 lbs filled. Choose its position before filling rather than expecting to move it casually every time the pool is used. Setup requires no complicated assembly: fill the internal cavity in the pool, close the fill point securely, and allow the chair to settle on the flat ledge.

A hidden water-release drain prevents rain or splash water from collecting beneath the sitter. For routine care, rinse away sunscreen and body oils and use a soft cloth or brush. Use a suitable calcium-removal product if a chalky waterline develops, and avoid abrasive tools or harsh cleaners.
