Is This the Right Dining Set for You?
Choose SET-29 when you regularly seat six and want a longer, narrower oval table that works for both everyday dining and more generous entertaining. At 59 inches long when closed, it keeps the setting from feeling oversized for a quieter meal. Extended to 79 inches, it gives six place settings, serving dishes, and conversation more breathing room.
Allow room for the fully extended table, six pulled-out chairs and a walking path. This set includes six chairs. If you regularly host eight or more, compare other outdoor dining configurations before choosing.
Plan for everyday meals and guests
Picture an ordinary dinner and your next gathering. Leave room for serving dishes, for someone to pass behind an occupied chair, and for the table to extend without rearranging the whole patio.
The oval shape softens the setting and keeps everyone oriented toward the table rather than separated into distant corners. Two armchairs give the ends a more settled feel, while four armless side chairs make the long sides easier to arrange.

The butterfly leaf stores beneath the tabletop, so there is no separate leaf to carry or store. Closed, the table is 59 inches long. Extended, it reaches 79 inches while keeping the same 39-inch width. That longer surface is useful when serving platters, centerpieces, and shared dishes begin competing with six place settings.
Measure using the 79″ × 39″ extended tabletop—not only the closed size—and then allow additional room for chair pullout and circulation. Also measure the route from the curb to the patio, including gates, steps, slopes, and narrow side yards.
79-inch or 67-inch Chicago?
Choose this SET-29 when a longer, narrower dining surface fits your patio and the way you serve meals. Consider the 67-inch SET-07 when a shorter table and wider 47-inch top suit the space better. Both sets seat six and include two armchairs plus four side chairs; the real choice is table proportion, not chair count. The 67-inch set is currently unavailable; use that page for a size comparison, not as an immediately available alternative.

Planning for a gathering or a particular date? Ask us to confirm availability and delivery timing for the complete SET-29 before ordering. Include your ZIP code and preferred arrival date so we can check the current dispatch estimate and carrier transit separately. Dispatch is when an order leaves the supplier; it is not the arrival date at your home.
Assembly and Curbside Delivery
Assembly is required. Follow the instructions supplied with each component. The published set weight is 325 lb, and the order ships in 7 cartons by scheduled LTL freight (freight class 175). Plan for a clear staging area, a second pair of hands, and a safe way to move the cartons from the curb to the final dining space.
For qualifying contiguous-U.S. destinations, complimentary standard delivery includes residential delivery, liftgate service, and curbside placement. Curbside delivery does not include carrying cartons into the backyard, unpacking, assembly, furniture placement, or packaging removal. See Shipping & Delivery for destination and service details.
Inspect all cartons before signing. Note visible damage on the delivery receipt and photograph the packaging. Report visible damage, missing pieces, or an incorrect shipment immediately, within 24 hours of delivery. Unpack promptly and report concealed damage immediately, within 24 hours of delivery. Living With Solid Teak
The Grade-A solid teak arrives natural, unfinished, and smooth-sanded. Left outdoors untreated, it gradually changes from honey-gold to a silver-grey patina. That change is normal and does not reduce the wood’s strength. If keeping the original golden tone matters to you, plan on regular cleaning and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidance.
Natural variations in color, grain, and texture are part of real teak rather than defects. The table and chairs use mortise-and-tenon joinery and non-marking plastic feet. Avoid leaving teak standing in pooled water for extended periods.
Warranty, Returns, and Before You Commit
Manufacturer limited frame warranty: 2 years for residential use and 1 year for commercial use against manufacturing defects and workmanship. Natural checking, grain variation, and normal weathering are not manufacturing defects.
Eligible standard merchandise follows the return terms above. With a seven-carton dining set, measuring the extended layout and delivery path before ordering is far less expensive than discovering a fit problem after delivery.
