The Bahama 79" oval extension table measures 59" long closed and opens to 79" long (39" wide, 29" high) using its built-in leaf, comfortably seating six with the two armchairs at the ends and the four side chairs along the sides. Materials and Construction

Built from A-Grade solid teak (Tectona Grandis) sourced from sustainably managed Indonesian forests certified under Indonesia's SVLK legal-timber verification system. Every piece is kiln-dried to 8-12% moisture content to resist shrinking and cracking outdoors, and joined with mortise-and-tenon construction for long-term durability. The natural, sanded finish will weather to a silvery patina over time outdoors, or can be cleaned and re-oiled to maintain its honey-brown tone.

Cushion and Fabric Details

This set does not include cushions. Anderson Teak sells Sunbrella all-weather seat cushions made for the Chicago dining chairs as a separate accessory, offered in several fabric colors. Backyard Solstice does not currently offer these cushions as an add-on through this listing — buyers who want cushioned seating should plan to source matching cushions separately before ordering, or contact us to check current availability.

Assembly

Assembly is required for the table and each of the six chairs; all ship flat-packed for efficient freight. Anderson Teak provides printed and downloadable assembly instructions with each component. Budget time to assemble the table and all six chairs before your first use.

Care

Left untreated, solid teak will weather naturally to a silvery-gray patina outdoors — a normal and expected process that doesn't affect structural integrity. To maintain the original honey-brown tone, clean periodically with mild soap and water and apply a teak sealer or oil per the manufacturer's care guidance. Because this set is not certified waterproof or stain-resistant, avoid leaving standing water pooled on the tabletop or seats for extended periods.

Warranty

Manufacturer warranty: 2 years residential / 1 year commercial against manufacturing defects on the teak frame, per Anderson Teak's general Teak & Solid Hardwood Outdoor Furniture warranty policy. This set ships without cushions, so no separate cushion warranty applies.
