Kiln-dried to 8-12% moisture content before construction, which helps prevent warping, cracking, and shrinking over time and eliminates insects or mold present in the raw wood. Left unfinished and sanded smooth rather than stained or sealed, so the wood's natural oils — not a topcoat — are what protect it outdoors. Natural honey golden-brown color as shipped. Made in Indonesia.

The 6" thick cushion uses premium high-density polyurethane foam wrapped on 4 sides with polyester Dacron batting for extra padding; the included pillow is filled with polyester fiberfill, a soft, non-allergenic, mildew-resistant material. Care Guidance

This chair is not maintenance-free. For the frame: clean with mild soap and water and a soft brush as needed. Left unfinished outdoors, the teak will gradually weather from golden-brown to a silver-gray patina — a normal, expected characteristic of untreated teak, not damage. If you'd rather maintain the original golden color, periodic teak oil or sealer application is required, and will need to be reapplied regularly. For the cushion and pillow: the Sunbrella covers are stain-resistant and mold/mildew-resistant, and the cushion's zipper closure allows for spot cleaning or removal; avoid harsh chemical cleaners on the fabric.
