Placement and Compatibility

The black Signature Fill-Up Base supports 1.5-inch and 2-inch umbrella poles and accepts the included umbrella's 1.5-inch pole. The base weighs 8 lb empty and up to 66 lb when properly filled with water or sand. The base is designed for level patio or deck use and must not be used in a pool. Although the umbrella may support other installations, this set as sold with the Fill-Up Base is approved only for level patio or deck placement.

Assembly and Setup

Assembly and setup are required. Customer setup includes assembling the reducer, receiver, and base components; supplying water or sand; filling the base; inserting and securely fastening the umbrella pole; and completing standard umbrella setup. Detailed manufacturer step-by-step umbrella instructions are not currently published. Always close and secure the umbrella during unsafe weather and store it as appropriate.

Delivery

Components ship directly to the delivery address and may arrive separately. Expect curbside delivery; placement, unpacking, installation, and assembly are not included. Tracking is provided after shipment.

Care

Clean the umbrella and base with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth or brush. Dry the base completely before storage. The marine-grade canopy is designed to resist fading, mold, and mildew, but it is not maintenance-free.

Warranty

Umbrella warranty coverage depends on using an appropriately weighted base and closing and securing the umbrella during winds at or above its published rating, subject to the manufacturer's current written terms and exclusions. The manufacturer does not separately publish a multi-year warranty term for the Fill-Up Base.
